2017 Central European Business Mission Dates
Dec. 21, Washington, DC – The American-Central European Business Association (ACEBA) announced today that its affiliated bilateral business councils will lead annual business missions to Lithuania, Romania, Poland, and Hungary. Each mission aims to help U.S. companies develop and maintain strategic alliances with key interlocutors in the partnering country’s capital.
Each mission is built on meetings with Governments in the respective partner country and the U.S. Ambassador and Embassy. Our plenary meetings allow companies to dialogue with the senior most government leaders, outline new opportunities they are pursuing, and broadly discuss any barriers to doing business in each country. Each company may also request two private meetings to discuss more targeted topics.
The main program will feature a series of group roundtable discussions between the company delegation and senior partner country leaders, including:
- Prime Minister
- Minister of Foreign Affairs
- Minister of Economy
- Minister of Finance
Each participating company may also request individual meetings with up to two additional ministers, deputy ministers, or other officials. These meetings can include requests in other ministries, such as:
- Ministry of Energy
- Ministry of Defense
- Ministry of Interior
- Ministry of Health
Each company’s delegation is led by at least one senior executive who is not based in country, but we encourage the participation of country managers in the delegations.
