Eric Stewart, President

Eric Stewart is a Partner with the Washington, DC firm of Williams & Jensen, PLLC. Mr. Stewart represents clients before the Administration, Congress and select foreign governments on a range of international and domestic policy matters. He also serves as the President of the American-Lithuanian Business Council (ALBC), the US-Poland Business Council (USPBC), the US-Hungary Business Council (USHBC) and the American-Romanian Business Council (AMRO), and as the Executive Director of the US Turkmenistan Business Council (USTBC).

Previously, Mr. Stewart served as the Deputy Assistant Secretary for Europe at the U.S. Department of Commerce where he was responsible for developing programs, policies and strategies designed to strengthen the United States’ commercial position in Europe. Mr. Stewart directed the Department’s activities on trade, commerce, compliance and investment policies for more than 50 countries (including European Commission and 25 EU countries, Turkey, Russia and the Independent States) in the region. Mr. Stewart served as the Acting Assistant Secretary and was granted top secret security clearance.


Matt Decker, Senior Advisor

For over fifteen years, Mr. Decker has been at the center of international politics. He has assisted foreign countries, multinational corporations, and trade promotion organizations in pursuing their various political and commercial interests around the globe. As part of his international consulting work, Mr. Decker delivers speeches and informational seminars to foreign government officials and business leaders around the world. In 2005, Mr. Decker designed and implemented a series of training programs in Washington, DC for newly arriving Ambassadors, diplomats, military officers, and foreign business leaders. In 2015, he trained embassy staff from more than 100 countries on the intricacies of the U.S. federal government and American politics.

Previously, Mr. Decker served as the congressional and political advisor to the British Embassy and as a political advisor to the Japanese Embassy in Washington, DC. Mr. Decker also has many years’ experience working for the U.S. Congress, serving as an international trade and foreign policy advisor to Congressman Mark Souder of Indiana. Mr. Decker is a graduate of Indiana University, with a bachelor’s degree in political science. He also holds a master’s degree in political management from The George Washington University in Washington, DC.


Jennifer Wanandi, Vice President

Jennifer Wanandi is a Government Affairs Manager at Williams & Jensen. Prior to her arrival at Williams & Jensen, she served as a Government Relations Assistant at Jones Walker LLP in their Washington DC office, where she worked on international issues. In 2012, she worked on Mitt Romney’s Presidential Campaign. Jennifer holds a bachelor’s degree in Political Science from Boston College in Chestnut Hill, MA.

Luke Myers, Vice President

Luke Myers is an International Government Affairs Manager at Williams & Jensen, and the Senior Vice President of AMRO and USHBC. He also serves as the Vice President of the ALBC and the USPBC. He works closely with Congress, the U.S. Administration, and select foreign governments to promote American trade and commercial relationships abroad. Mr. Myers has organized international policy conferences with participation from cabinet-level officials of the U.S. and overseas governments. Previously, Mr. Myers worked in the office of U.S. Senator Sherrod Brown on a variety of issues, including education, labor, and international trade.


Alex Hopkins, Research Director

Alex Hopkins is a Legislative Analyst at Williams & Jensen. He serves as Research Director for ACEBA, ALBC, AMRO, USHBC, and USPBC, and as Policy Director for the USTBC. Prior to his arrival at Williams & Jensen, he gained experience on Capitol Hill working for a U.S. Representative. He also completed an Institute for the International Education of Students program in France focused on European Union history, politics, and economics. Alex holds a bachelor’s degree in International Relations from the College of Wooster in Ohio and speaks French.
